What's Included in a Merac Automatic Door Installation

• 1. Door Operator: This is the central mechanism responsible for opening and closing the door automatically. It usually comprises an electric motor, drive mechanism, and control unit.

  2. Sensors: Motion sensors, infrared sensors, or pressure sensors detect the presence or movement of individuals approaching the door, triggering the opening mechanism. These sensors ensure smooth and timely operation, enhancing user experience and safety.

  3. Control System: The control unit manages the operation of the automatic door, interpreting signals from sensors and user inputs to initiate door movements. It may also incorporate safety features such as obstacle detection to prevent accidents.

  4. Power Supply: Automatic doors typically require electrical power to operate. Depending on the installation location, power may be supplied from the building's mains electricity or via a dedicated power source such as batteries or solar panels for remote locations or areas prone to power outages.

  5. Safety Features: To ensure user safety, automatic door installations often include safety measures such as sensors to detect obstructions in the door's path, emergency stop buttons, and backup systems in case of power failure.

  6. Accessories: Additional accessories may be integrated into the automatic door system to enhance functionality and security, such as keycard readers, intercom systems, or integration with building management systems.
