The DORMA automatic sliding door sensor sits above your door and does two jobs at once: it opens the door when someone walks towards it, and it keeps the door from closing while anyone is standing in the doorway. One sensor replaces a separate motion detector and safety beam — ideal for shops, offices, clinics, malls and building lobbies in Dubai.

What it does

• Opens the door automatically — a microwave motion detector picks up people approaching, so the door opens smoothly without anyone touching it.
• Protects people in the doorway — two rows of infrared beams watch the door opening and stop the door closing on a person, pram, wheelchair or trolley.
• Meets the European safety standard — monitored to EN 16005 performance level C, the standard building consultants and facility managers look for on automatic pedestrian doors.
• Covers a wide entrance — detection area up to 2.2 m wide × 0.5 m deep when mounted at 2.2 m height.
• Discreet look — slim black housing that blends in above the door.
