A fire rated door is part of a building's passive fire protection system — designed to hold back fire and smoke for a set period, giving occupants time to evacuate and firefighters time to respond. UAE building regulations require fire rated doors at specific locations such as stairwells, exit routes, service rooms, and compartment walls, with ratings typically expressed in minutes: 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes of fire resistance.

Construction

Our fire rated metal doors are built from double-skinned galvanized steel with a honeycomb or mineral-wool (Rockwool) core for thermal insulation and structural integrity under fire conditions. Frames are supplied to match, with steel stiffeners and standard ironmongery reinforcements. Doors are available in single-leaf and double-leaf (double door) configurations, in flush or glazed panel designs, with standard RAL colour finishes.
